I uncovered a format that resonated with me and
purchased our website graphics through
http://www.4templates.com
for about $30.00. Configuring each page proved a bit tricky.
Thankfully, my husband and I had picked up
enough HTML to format text and tables
according to our exact specifications.
Yes. I did write, edit and link every bit of copy
in these 50+ pages and even used a freeware
Illustrator-type program called
GIMP to manipulate
many of the design elements and retouch
a few of our samples. The SGS DESIGN AND MORE
logo for the masthead was ours —
also created entirely through GIMP.
Our template provided a few impressive features,
but we weren't at the stage yet where
we totally understood database-driven search
engines. Perhaps in our next revision, we'll
implement those bells and whistles. In the
meantime, we hope you can find what you need.
